Is it notmal for the routers and calipers on your car to be freaking hot ?

well i just got my routers and breaks fixed 2 months ago but recently my drivers side front tire has been making noises like metals being rubbed together and clearly me trying to be smart would touch the router and it burnt me :( is that a problem?
