Central air conditioning does not work well.?

My wife and I just bought a duplex with central air in both sides (seperate units). Unfortunately our AC seems to not work well. It was 78 degrees in the house, about 77 degrees outside. We set the AC to cool to 75, and it took about 45 minutes. Sounds like a mive waste of electricity to me. Since I have installed AC units before (with my father) I know a little about them. I changed the filter and checked the registers. Only cool air is blowing out when it comes on. I'm hoping its not a freon issue, since I remember charging units, but I cant remember which of the three hoses on the gauges go to the unit and which one goes to the tank. Any suggestions/thoughts? Wavy hair product?

I straighten my hair almost every day and blow dry it often, but my hair is really suffering from it...a lot of breakage or just being generally dry and brittle. What movie am I trying to think of?

Ok i only remember parts of this movie and ive been trying to figure out what movie it is. There is a white mother with a japanese son, and i think a japanese husband. They move to japan and the son gets really sick. There is something about the celebration of the dead festival, and a guy that works in an herb shop that turns out to be a ghost. There is a point in the movie where the mom has to do some kind of ritual to where she can enter the world of the dead to enter a certain room of the house. God + Religion?

God is in every subtle detail of your experience. my brother and i was gone 20 min came back unexpectedly and found out his wife had left their baby home alone. She claims she just ran down the road and was only gone a minute when i counted at least 5 minutes while my brother was inside before she came home. What specific words did he use that would appeal to the clergy? Focus more on how well it was targeted. Care home volunteering, does it count?

I am in sixth form college at the moment and would like to study medicine, I know that work experience is needed, so during the most recent summer holidays I started going to a Care Home for sufferers of dementia (i.e. alzheimer's) but because of bad timetabling it means I do not have any free days where i can go, except the weekend, where i work and want to do other work placements. Could i still put this on my personal statement, even though i only had half a dozen visits or should i try and get another similar placement somewhere more convenient?

Hello all, it's been awhile but i'm back because i'm having a dilemma. My fiance has always been insecure of my relationship with my best friend, and part of that is due to the fact that my best friend is a guy. He and I have known each other for about 10 years. The problem is, my fiance feels that there is more than friendship to our relationship. The truth is, there is NOTHING more than friendship there, but we are just really close; if he were a woman no one would think twice about it. We see each other regularly; talk or text on the phone daily; and are always arguing and making up. Lol I would call our relationship dysfunctional, but it works for us. In addition to that, we do tell each other "I love you" occasionally when getting off the phone, and at times, I spend the night at his house when i'm in his town visiting. We really grew this close when he had to deploy to Iraq a few years back and it's been that way every since. My fiance does not want to be anywhere near my friend, and has refused to allow him to be a part of our wedding, even though he knows how much it means to me. I'm not even sure he will allow him to come to the wedding. He also gets angry whenever I go anywhere with my friend, and when I invite him along, he refuses to go and I end up just canceling altogether to keep the peace. I have no idea what to do. I love my fiance to death, but I also love my friend and he's stuck with me through thick and thin. My fiance is demanding that I distance myself from him, and it may very well cause a rift in our friendship. I do not know what to do, and I don't want to lose either of them. I understand my fiance's point of view, but he has several female friends with whom he is close with, and I don't have this reaction. What should I do? Diabetic pug...anyone with professional or personal experience please help!?

He is my mothers dog and is around 10 yrs old. He is currently eating Purina Veterinary Diets - DCO.....$40 something a 20lb. bag. First ingredient (with out a doubt) CORN!!!! Computer virus please help?

A new virus has attacked all the machines. It has disabled regedit, folder options, cmd etc. It is creating many files with the folder names and their icon looks like directory but the details show it as application. I booted through cd and located sembakocfg.....exe in the windows directory and deleted but it still keeps coming. I disabled the windows restore option also but still it keeps coming. I used a third party registry editor and deleted the shell = sembako but it immedeatly returns. Most ot popular anti virus like norton, protectorplus, spybot, trojan remover are all ineffective to cure What is this virus and what should be done is there any way to cure it other than formatting. please inform me as early as possible . Alto Saxophone Octave/Register Key Help?

I just finished a concert today and I was in a duet with the first chair when it really start to irritate. My register key keeps sticking when coming from a note that raises it (such as an A) to a note that doesn't (G). It just delays from notes above a G when coming back down making it squeak. There's this little plastic casing on the little bar that raises the big U shaped metal piece. It's a brand new saxophone and I've only been having problems with that. New food for 6 month old?

I started feeding my baby at 4 months (due to doctor and health nurse advice) he now has breakfast (weetbix and 3 ice cubes of apple or pear) lunch consists of 4 cubes of apple pr pear and dinner which is vegies (spinach, sweet potato, brocolli, squash, zucchini, carrots all blended of course) he also has 4 bottles of 150mls during the day. Although I don't know how much a month it would use, I can tell you that they are pretty energy efficient. Most if not all appliances manufactured today have to be "Energy Star" efficient as set by government regulations. Keep in mind that the smaller the freezer, the less space inside the freezer that needs to be kept frozen. Keeping your freezer well stocked with help in this, and the freezer will have to work less to keep your items frozen. ;) (That is also my "green" tip of the day!)

Personally I'm agnostic, but I believe it's the belief in God most atheists don't agree upon. Not exactly the morals of common good and such that the Bible tries to impose on it's readers. Most decent people still have those basic morals and may not see certain things Christians like yourself see as sin to be sinful but would agree on murder being heinous and a horrid act to commit. I'm very happy for anyone who can definitely believe there is a God and believe in heaven. I would believe it must be good and give some sort of optimism to life to think your body dies but your soul lives on.

Inexpensive Motel or Hotel for a weekend in beginning or middle of December, 2010 in New York City.?

My girlfriend and I would like to travel to NYC for the weekend. I was raised there and currently we are out of state. I have visited myself in the summer and stayed at the 12 Towns YMCA by myself, on previous occasions as well. This summer I paid 45 dollars apparently they want 80 dollars a night now for one person only, the Green point YMCA they said it was 80 also, but for the two of us. There is no breakfast available and the showers are shared but I know from experience the Green point Y seems to be one of the cheapest, and safest, in terms of neighborhood. I looked at Motels on roomsaver.com and they listed something in Elizabeth New Jersey I think the Knight Motel 45 a night I think, but when I called, they said 64, but apparently that is rampant with prostitution according to the reviews. SO, does anyone know of anything really inexpensive around the time frames I listed in the title, in NYC, not Staten Island, btw, perhaps in Westchester or Rockland I guess...maybe New Jersey but I would really prefer New York City. Also I read something about a Rockaway Beach motel something like 115 dollars a week. But any input would be helpful. Something inexpensive and quiet and safe so iIcan park my car. Is is legal to neuter a cat that doesn't belong to you?

I have lived in my apartment for about a year now and the cat situation is rampant, we knew this even when we moved in here. I never really had a problem with it until this last spring when all the kittens came out. It has gotten out of control and all the neighbors seem to do is feed them which is good but they never try to get them in and get them neutered at least. Recently one of the cats ran inside my house he was young and had a terrible mite infestation and his ears were draining puss so I took him to the vet and had him neutered and his ears cleaned out and gave him antibiotics for the infection. No one claimed him so I decided to keep him. Now there is a new cat hanging around my apartment and although I have seen this one before, he is much older possibly the little ones dad, I have never seen him belong to anybody, he always seemed very skittish and almost seemed feral like all the other cats. He has been following me around my apartment complex and sleeps outside my bedroom window. I noticed him and felt bad so I gave him a little food when he waited for me outside my door one day and I noticed he had a lot of mats so I cut them out because they were beyond brushing. He is not neutered and I know even if he is a stray he should be neutered but im worried if I do that and he does belong to somebody I could be in a lot of trouble. He is always outside and he always comes to me so I know I could get him to the vet without trapping him. If he is outside and with no collar can I neuter him without owner consent if he does belong to somebody? Thank you

I think it's ridiculous. The Bible completely states that we will not know. Nobody knows except for God. There's nothing about any date in the Bible. It only says that it will happen in the lifetime of believers. That means that when Jesus comes back, there will at least be one follower of Christ in the world. The majority of Christians do not believe this. This isn't what Christianity teaches, so it's not religion's fault. It's people's fault. It's not a testament to the Christian beliefs in any way. Some people just happen to believe it. It's allowed to remain because we can't go around killing people for believing something different. That's happened before, and I don't think anyone wants it to continue. They'll see that they're wrong on May 22nd when they wake up still on this earth, and on October 22nd when the world is still here. And if they think that God is going to destroy the world in the first place, they're misguided. God is going to destroy the world as we know it, which means he's going to destroy the world of sin. He's not actually going to make planet earth blow up.

Ok, so on Sept. 11th i had my last normal period. I had w/ my bf on sept. 26th.[the day i ovulated] then a week later i had preg. symptoms. i even fainted/ped out. then on the day my period was supposed to start oct 10 i started bleeding but it was brown & pink w/ a lil red. it only lasted 3.5/4 days when it's usually 5-7. so then the bleeding stopped and i still had all the same preg. symptoms +more. then my next period was due nov. 8th. i didnt start bleeding until the 12th. it's like brownish red. this is my 2nd almost 3rd day of bleeding and my bf and i both noticed the last couple of days that my have gotten bigger and there's a vein poppin out on each of them & they're sore when they touch anything. i still have all the symptoms, but i've tested 4 times altogether and they were all neg. is it possible for me to still be prego & bleeding & not showing up prego on hpt's?? my mom told me that she had problems with showing up + on hpt's when she was prego all 3 times. she had to get blood tests to proove it. and she fainted before she found out that she was prego w/ my twin sisters & then didnt show up + on a hpt. all of this has me so confused. i'll accept it either way, prego or not, but its killing me not knowing. i know all of the tests say no but my body and my mind keep saying i am. i've had soooo many symptoms: nausea on & off everyday, sore s & theyre bigger, peeing alot, fatigue like crazy!!, certain smells make me sick, mood swings, i had a cold w/ lots of congestion, stuffy nose, frequent headaches, my body feels warmer all the time, i'm more gy than usual, i've had some pimples recently & I NEVER get pimples, and i just noticed today that my stomach is poochin out a LITTLE bit in my pubic area..i'm pretty small so of course i notice when anything looks different and it def. does! & i've even had the 1 random hiccup that i've heard so many pregnant ladies saying they have/had! idk if i am prego but if i am then i would be 9w1d. today is my birthday and it sucks not really knowing cuz if i drink or smoke i'm gonna feel quilty. like everytime i smoke a cig. my stomach turns and i feel like i shouldn't. =/ someone plz tell me what u think or if u know what could be wrong with me!! thank u sooo much! <33 =]

Car alarm/ heat, weather question?

I had a car alarm installed a couple of days ago. It worked fine no problem. Until I went to El Centro California close to Baja Mexicali where it was about 110 of heat. Well my alarm was acting up, I would activate my alarm and about a minute later the alarm would go on. So before I went to bed I activated the alarm again, no problem . I guess sometime in the night the alarm went on and I never turned it off and I think it killed my battery cause my car would not start in the morning. I also notice my car alarm remote battery was completely dead, I have one of those pager alarms. Ok my question is do you think the heat (weather) has anything to do with it? I'm back home here in Orange County California where the weather is a whole lot cooler and my alarm is working fine.

Wow- I am impressed with your desire to handle this on your own. I homeschool my two sons, 14 and 11, and I can't imagine big brother trying to help little brother the way you are! My 11 year-old is dyslexic and he definatley has trouble reading and writing. Because we are not in the school system, we had him tested by a local expert in this area. I have tought him very successfully without special materials-he just needs lots of extra practice. Granted, he is not on the extreme end of the spectrum, so I have been able to work with him myself. I know others who have needed outside help- which your school should provide as previous posters have advised. In the meantime, you can take the time to read with him- a lot! I don't know how old your brother is, but he probably needs some work with phonics. Even at Wal Mart they have some phonics workbooks that are not bad - and cheap. You said your parents are Asian, I'm guessing they may not feel comfortable helping him in English. I can understand that. YOUR English however is very good! The best thing you can do for him is just read TO him and encourage him to keep trying. You are a good brother!
