Do small freezers use alot of electricity?

Although I don't know how much a month it would use, I can tell you that they are pretty energy efficient. Most if not all appliances manufactured today have to be "Energy Star" efficient as set by government regulations. Keep in mind that the smaller the freezer, the less space inside the freezer that needs to be kept frozen. Keeping your freezer well stocked with help in this, and the freezer will have to work less to keep your items frozen. ;) (That is also my "green" tip of the day!)
